We would love to have the Knights help out with distribution to our parishioners if they are interested. We will only need at least 4 volunteers and it would be fantastic if the same who volunteered for Thanksgiving Basket Distribution would be able to participate. Please send me a confirmation email with the list of individuals that will be in attendance that day and their contact information. This way, if there are any changes I will be able to notify them prior to the event. Thank you again for all of your support. Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving.

Knights of Columbus Memorial Mass November 29th

Monday, November 23rd, 2020

Worthy Brother Knights All,

I hope this finds you all healthy and safe through these trying times.
God’s blessings to you all and your families this Thanksgiving!

I am broadcasting this to both the Council and Assembly so everyone has the
same information. As our Worthy GK Joe stated below, the Memorial Mass is
at 8am this coming Sunday, November 29th. As he also mentioned, it will be
very different this year. Mindful of the COVID-19 guidelines, the
difficult decision has been made that we will not be gathering all members
in the Narthex and processing in as a group this year. Instead, we ask
that council Members wear their Council shirts to identify you as a member
of our council and simply attend mass as you normally would with your
families.

For an Honor Guard, we will be following the same protocols used at Father
Tighe’s funeral. Attire will be Tuxedo, Social Baldric, White Gloves and a
face mask (Black preferred if possible). The Honor Guard ONLY will meet in
the narthex at 7:30.
We will process in, line the main aisle at salute until the procession
passes, and then circle around to the back of the church for mass. For the
Recessional, same thing. We line the aisle at salute until the procession
passes, then follow the procession out to the Narthex for dismissal.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I hope to see lots of
burgundy Council shirts Sunday! God Bless, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Vivat Jesus!

Fraternally yours in Christ,

SK-Matthew J Stein PFN, PGK, FDD

Knights Council 11234 Thanksgiving Food Deliveries

Sunday, November 22nd, 2020

Worthy Brother Knights of Council 11234,

I have attached some photos from our Food Delivery today for Thanksgiving by some 40 volunteers. 2 different Knight sponsored delivery teams were involved, “Operation Harvest Team” and the “TAM Team”.

The “Operation Harvest Team”, lead by Anthony Nacional, delivered turkeys and food to 23 families. The “TAM Team”, lead by Dave Rogers, delivered foods to 24 families.

(Just to let everyone know that the “Operation Harvest Team” sorts, packs and delivers food to 23 families every week. The “TAM Team” sorts, packs and delivers food every 3rd Saturday to 24 families.)

The pictures do not really show the amount of food that was involved in the delivery today or the blessed volunteers that helped to feed the hungry. I just want to thank all the Saint Catherines Parishioners, Knights, and TAM, that contributed to the Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive, the donation of food, time and monies to support the needy.

May God Bless Everyone!

Vivat Jesus!
