Fwd: Rosary Rally Saturday September 26th 11AM

Worthy Brother Knights and SK’s,

Our Worthy Brother SK Jim Vasilko is planning a Rosary Rally on Saturday September 26th at 11 AM at the Wake Forest Town Hall. If possible we should show full support of our Council to this Rosary Rally and show support for our Police, Fire Fighters and EMS. Please see all the information in the attached email.

Thank you Jim for your organizing of The Rosary Rally!

Vivat Jesus!

> I am planning to hold a Rosary Rally by the Wake Forest Town Hall on Sept. 26 to pray for the Police Officers, Fire Fighters, and EMS personnel. This is a Nationwide event. Our Police representative requested the Firefighters and EMS be included. I have no problem with that.
> I am beginning the process of gathering as many people as possible to stand publicly to pray for those men and women who are in desperate need of support in this difficult time.If you could put out a message to the KofC making the members aware of this and asking for as many as can to show up to pray, I would very much appreciate it. I am prepared to stand alone to pray, but I think more people would have a greater impact. Families are, of course, always allowed and encouraged.
> I would not like to go to the media with this, to hold down any possibility of protesters, so my intent is to hold it within the parish community. I will be contacting other organizations such as Men of Truth, Legion of Mary, etc. Of course, if someone from outside of our parish desires to join us, they are welcome.
> Thank you for your kind help. We will be holding this in front of the Wake Forest Town Hall on September 26 (a Saturday) at 11:00). I am being a bit presumptuous since the Town has not sid OK yet, but I have no reason to think they would deny my request.
