Fwd: Diocesan Rosary Congress

Wednesday, September 30th, 2020

Worthy Brother Knights,

Just a reminder that the Diocesan Rosary Congress At St. Catherines will be next week from Wednesday October 7th to Friday October 9th. Here is some further information on the Rosary Congress Procedures.

There are still plenty of hours of adoration still available to say the Rosary. I have also included the link for the Sign Up Genius, if you are interested in a hour of adoration and saying the Rosary.

Vivat Jesus!

>> Greetings to all,
>>
>> I want to thank all of you for saying “yes” to Our Lady and
>> participating in our first ever Diocesan Rosary Congress on October
>> 7th thru the 9th. This is Our Blessed Mother’s work and you play an
>> important role in it. Let us simply hold unto her hands and let Her
>> guide us through this important task. All the Rosaries that we will
>> pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament will begin to fill the empty
>> vessels of our hearts as we hear Our Lord’s call and answer it. Expect
>> to be Blessed with great miracles of grace in our personal lives and
>> in our Diocese.
>>
>> The Rosary Congress is simple and straightforward. It consists of
>> praying the Rosary at the top of the hour in front of Jesus in the
>> Blessed Sacrament. I just wanted to give you the details of how it’s
>> going to run.
>>
>> We will start after daily Mass at 9:15am on Wednesday thru Friday.
>> Father will expose the Blessed Sacrament and we will begin by praying
>> the Sorrowful Mysteries. There will be a booklet for each of the
>> Mysteries of the Rosary available at the front of the altar with the
>> meditations of the Rosary and all the prayers to be said. We will
>> start with the Sorrowful Mysteries, continue the next hour with the
>> Glorious Mysteries, the next hour with the Joyful Mysteries and again
>> with the Sorrowful Mysteries and so on. So basically the Sorrowful
>> Mysteries will be prayed at 9:00, 12:00noon, 3:00, and 6:00pm, on
>> Wednesday and Thursday.
>>
>> Please only take the booklet for the Mystery of the Rosary that you
>> will be praying. You can take that copy with you. There will be
>> Confessions on Wednesday, October 8th from 5:00-6:00pm.
>>
>> We will end the Rosary Congress with Mass at 6:00pm on Friday, October
>> 9th. I hope everyone can attend and finish these three intense days of
>> prayer with the highest form of prayer, the Sacrifice of the Mass. Let
>> us be assured of Our Lady’s help and confident in the success of this
>> first ever Rosary Congress!
>>
>> I am attaching the booklets for all three Mysteries of the Rosary for
>> you to look at and get familiar with. Please let me know if you have
>> any questions.

>> Hi Jim,
>> Can you forward this to the Knights of Columbus? It will be in the bulletin this weekend.
>>
>> Our parish will be hosting its first ever, Rosary Congress. It seeks to enliven the faithful with the power of the Rosary prayed before the Blessed Sacrament. This is a prayerful response to the call of Our Lady at Fatima by which the faithful will come together for three days of Eucharistic Adoration with a rosary prayed aloud every hour before the Blessed Sacrament inside the Church. These intense three days unleash the Divine Mercy on our fallen world and allows the faithful to “see” as never before both the True Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and the reality of evil all around.
>>
>> With everything going on in our country there are many reasons to hold this Rosary Congress, including but not limited to: For life, for reparation for our sins and the sins of our country, and for peace in our cities, nation, and our world. All is enveloped in a spirit of penance and reparation in order to call down God’s mercy upon our country and the whole world. God will hear our cry for mercy and see our desire to make reparation. Our country and our Church needs this siege!
>>
>> This will take place on October 7th, October 8th, and October 9th following morning Mass until 7pm. It will close with a Mass at 6:00pm on October 9th. During these hours, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed inside the Church and a rosary will be prayed aloud at the top of each hour followed by Eucharistic Adoration. Please consider leading the Rosary or a decade. The link to the SignUp Genius is attached.
