Council 11234 Slate of Officers 2020-2021

Monday, May 25th, 2020

Worthy Brother Knights,
I hope you and your families are all having a safe and blessed Memorial Day.  I’m very happy to know that many of you were able to attend Mass in the building this weekend.  I look forward to the time when we can all safely gather together again in the worship of our Savior.
I also look forward to the time when we can gather for our regular business meetings and other Knight’s events.  I have no new information on when that time might be, so until then we will continue to host our meetings virtually. Our OpLAMB events for May and June are canceled as Walmart is not allowing solicitations until further notice.
We do have some important business to address before our next business meeting which will be on June 11th.

We will now be closing the nominations for our council officers.  We have had no new nominations since early April.
The current list of nominees is as follows:
Grand Knight – Joe PalkoDeputy Grand Knight – Terry ShackeltonChancellor – Mike GautierAdvocate – Tony MoranoWarden – Mike PughesTreasurer – Dave RogersTrustee, 3rd Year – Ed GaryTrustee, 2nd Year –  Juan VazquezTrustee, 1st Year- Mike PotochnikInside Guard – David AldrichOutside Guard – Todd FarrellRecorder – Brien McGuire

We now propose a motion for the recorder to submit a white ballot thereby electing the above slate of officers by acclamation.  You can vote on this motion using the following link:

Motion to Submit White Ballot for 2020 Council Officer Elections

You will be required to submit your email address and you may only vote one time.  Voting will remain open until we reach the new business portion at the business meeting.

I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to vote on this important motion.
Gob bless,
Vivat Jesus!

Worthy Grand Knight,
Please forward this email to our members in request for help with the June 7 CPO  food drive.
Our Parish will be conducting a food drive for CPO on Sunday June 7th.  Under the current circumstances of limited public Mass and limited attendance we are changing the normal food drive format.  The Parish May newsletter on Flocknote has an announcement for a “Drive Through” food drive on Sunday, June 7th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Church parking lot.
We need 3 to 4 volunteers each hour to collect the food from donors as they drive up to the CPO truck on Sunday afternoon.   Please consider helping with the drive on June 7.  Attached is a link to a Sign Up Genius about the drive and the available volunteer hourly time slots.
