I hope that this letter finds you and your family well. May the peace of Christ be with you.
By the grace of God, Andrew is now home after spending 3 weeks in the hospital! He came home late this Friday afternoon. Andrew has had the most challenging 3 weeks of his life, and this week, it showed how much he missed home by saying “bye bye” to every nurses and doctors who came by to see him before even hearing that he would be discharged the day before. We are glad that he is home and are grateful to God for everything.
Andrew came home with a feeding tube for 4 more weeks until his broken bones are healed. He is very picky when it comes to food and things he likes to eat are too hard for his injured jaw and are not nutritious enough to heal his body. So, 6 feedings a day through the tube. Faith and I were trained by the hospital medical staff to be Andrew’s personal nurses at home to feed, inject anti blood clotting medicine, and change the dressing of his bottom wound. It’s a challenge but it’s better overall for the entire family of being together under one roof.
I would like to thank you for your intercessory prayers, well wishes, and generosity shown to me and my family in our time of need. Words cannot express our gratitude. We are so blessed of having you in our life!
There were times when I pondered what good that comes out of Andrew’s suffering and pain. Whatever it is, God knows and we trust him. I do know that because of the accident, Andrew has brought many to pray for him, his family, and the person who hit him. Not to mention the love and support shown to him and his family are clear signs of God’s goodness and mercy.
May the good Lord continue to watch over you and your families and guide you to seek him always no matter the circumstances. Also, I pray that all your prayers are answered hundred fold for the greater glory to God.
God bless you and your families,
