Brothers,
First, attached is the agenda for this Thursday’s meeting. Remember that
we’ll be holding a 1st Degree at 7PM so, please be prompt.
Also, the Knights of Columbus are principle supporters of Special Olympics.
Our brother Joe Csuka is one of the coordinators. He reminds us that time
is growing short to commit to help the Special Olympics. They are counting
on our Council to provide the awards team for the bowling venue on June 5th
in Cary. So far I have one volunteer, and only two responses to this call. I
know we can do better. We need a minimum of 6 and preferably 10 volunteers
to make this run smoothly. This is an extremely worth-while cause and costs
you nothing except a day of your time. You even get a free lunch! Please let
us help provide a fantastic experience for these marvelous athletes, who
truly deserve this and so much more. You will be rewarded emotionally and
spiritually as well.
If you haven’t already, please respond Joe at csukadad@aol.com>
csukadad@aol.com. Let him know your availability. I hope you can help, and
if so, please let me know your t-shirt size so we can get the order in.
Spouses and children 18 years of age and older are also welcome to join in.
Please see the signup below and let’s make sure that Council 11234 is well
represented.
